Starting afresh.

It's the start of junior college and we get new friends and we get the usual rumours about certain people. I have a sudden epiphany, maybe I have grown up maybe it's my thinking I don't know but anyways, it's time I stop judging people just by looking at them for a short period of time. One of my friends once enlightened me saying there are many facets to a person and judging them based on just a few sides is just purely - retarded. We can never know anyone to the core, some just love to hide stuff, some love to live behind a facade even those that are fully open will always have a flipside little know. So why do people hate and people love? Just because you think a person is a total douche doesn't mean he does not have a nice side and that does not warrant you a lisence to go around telling people that he is a total douche. I myself have been guilty of this in the past few years and to those I have hurt, I'm deeply regretful. In the past few days I have been fretting about council so much so that it is consuming me, emotionally and psychologically. I have been overly self conscious worrying about whether people will hate me whether it will affect my council run. I used to be someone who literally doesn't give a fuck. But a very good friend of mine has told me it isn't neccessarily a bad thing. Oh wells I guess I won't think so much about it after all I will always stay true to myself, it's the best way to live my life. As what Bon jovi says "it's my LIFE". The issue of pragmatism has become very apparent in recent days due the council run as usual. Oh wells I could only call it a appetizer for the real deal - society. Considering that these 2 years are potentially the most important years of our lives people are really looking at the finest details of things choosing only things in their interests, throwing those that are not going to be of any use to them. People are all about their portfolio thing now leading to the overwhelming pragmatism. I won't hate them for it, I can't blame them for it too. Looking at it from another angle, this is actually what every student would do, it's just a matter of time. I quote my friend: "School is just a place where motley individuals with seemingly utterly disparate worlds of thoughts are forced to congregate--that's why you learn so much more about people." School is just awesome and I am looking forward to more!
